I’ve spent years working in premium travel planning, and I’ve seen firsthand how a well-organized, high-end vacation can transform a person’s outlook. But I’ve also seen the moms who scroll through our single mom getaway posts and think, "That looks amazing, but it’s just not in the cards for me right now."

I want to change that. I believe that every mother, especially those doing it on their own, deserves to experience what it feels like to be taken care of. I’m talking about a week where you don't have to decide what’s for dinner, you don’t have to navigate a GPS, and you don’t have to worry about entertaining the kids every second of the day.

Our vision for 2027 is to provide a fully funded spot on one of our hosted single mom cruises for a mother who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a premium experience. This isn't just about a "free trip"; it's about providing a reset button for a woman who has been pouring from an empty cup for far too long.

For our 2027 scholarship recipient, the experience will include:

• Built-in Community: You won't be traveling alone. You’ll be part of a curated group of single moms, creating a "village" at sea.

• Mom-Focused Time: Strategic use of kids' clubs and group activities so you actually get time to sit on a balcony with a book and a coffee, undisturbed.

We are choosing to launch this in 2027 because it allows us to build the necessary funds to make sure the scholarship is comprehensive. It gives us time to partner with the right people and ensure that when we finally send a mom on this trip, she feels like royalty, not like a "charity case."

What the Application Process Will Look Like

While we are still a year or so away from opening applications, I want to be transparent about what we are looking for. This scholarship will be based on both financial need and a "heart-to-heart" connection.

We will eventually ask interested moms to fill out a form that includes:

1. Financial Snapshot: To ensure the scholarship goes to someone for whom a premium vacation is truly out of reach.

2. Your Story: A few questions about your journey as a single mother.

3. The "Why": A deep dive into why this specific trip would be important to you and your children right now.
